Coverage extends from the 37th Parallel (which runs west to east from Santa Cruz to Death Valley) south to the Mexican border. In addition to the maps, there are 17 pages of information on places to go and things to do, including fishing piers, vehicular recreation, beaches, botanical gardens, state and national parks and forests and a whole lot more. The scale is 1:150,000 (1" to 2.4 miles). A mosaic of all the maps would measure 11 feet high by 16 feet wide.
