For this Atlas, we combined elevation contour lines with shaded relief to create incredibly realistic terrain maps. You'd swear they're three-dimensional! These are the most beautiful, most detailed Nevada maps available. The Nevada Atlas & Gazetteer clearly depicts important features such as public lands, desert regions and military installations, as well as downhill and cross-country ski areas, scenic drives, and wildlife viewing sites. There are special, enhanced-scale maps for the Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe areas, as well as a Gazetteer section on casinos. The scale 1:250,000 (1" to 4 miles). A mosaic of all the maps would measure approximately 7 feet wide by 9¼ feet high.
